Hiding Something

Sometimes because of pride or ego or a mistaken idea, one person may not confide in another or tell them the whole truth. Have you ever been in a situation in which you didn’t want the other person to know something about you? You had something you wanted to keep secret? How did you act? Did the other person realize you were hiding something? How did your behavior change the way they acted toward you?
I have done that before. I didn't want my mom to know that I had more money than I said I did and the only reason I hid the rest away was, because I got the money from my friends mom and I didn't believe I deserved 55 bucks and I only thought I deserved 20. I guess my behavior was different than usuall, but not really. The only reason my mom found out was, because my brother went in my room and found it.

Halloween Costume

I've never really thought of my costumes as good or bad, but probably the best one I've had was when I dressed up as a puppy dog( when I was younger) and I had makeup on that looked like a dog with a nose and spots and whiskers and I had a dalmation full body costume on. I can't really remember anything else cause it was so long ago, but that was probably my best one.
My worst one was, well I don't know, cause I really don't care what I dress up as as long as I do.

It seems like reading Edgar Allen Poe stories around Halloween is a rite of passage for students in English classes. He wrote poems such as "The Raven

I have read Edgar Allen Poe's stories and they are kinda creepy. The one I remember most is this one about a mad scientist that envites these old people over to test his new discovery water that makes you young again. I've read others but I can't remember them at the moment but I do remember them being creepy, weird and perfect stories to tell around halloween. The one I described above was my favorite of his, but is kind of long and hard to get in to, but the end it explains what happened through out the story.

"How do you keep making the lights go on and off?" your pet might wonder.

" I wonder how that big box thing goes and how they ride in it" I always think to myself. "How does it take them whereever they want to go and why do I have to move away from it". I wonder how that big thing goes and is able to hold all them. I would just run where ever I wan't to go. I also wonder why I have to have a piece of string around my neck and why another piece of string is tied around the one on my neck. It's keeping my from running and playing with the other dogs and chasing cats. I wonder if it's for my own good. Nah!

Have you ever studied a skunk's eyes? Write about some item you find beauty in that many others might not.

Well, I find beauty in looking out at the fields where the farmers keep there horses and animals and also looking at the sky. I think people just take it forgranted, but if they just look at them once in awhile they'll relize how beautiful everything is.
I also like the mountains and all there beautiful colors and how they change with the seasons. That is what I think people really take advantage of. They know their there, but never really stop to look either. It's like they're so use to them just being there, that they know they'll always be there so what's the point.

Yes I have had a secret that I should've told. I can't remember exatly what it was, but I knew I should told it. I eventually told it, because it was something someone needed to know about. If it was a secret someone told me and they said not to tell it I probably wouldn't.
It's hard to keep a secret you know is dangerous and it eats at you and the guilt gets to you for not telling it, even if it's a secret someone told you and you know is dangerous it still eats at you.

Dear Journel,
Today I got married to Romeo, secretly, by Friar Laurence! I feel some much emotions right now, love, regret, fright, some many I can't put them down. I'm love Romeo so much, I just hope my parents don't find out and that his don't either.

I know that I won't be able to spend a lot of time with Romeo, because I'm not aloud to go outside without someone by my side. I hope sometimes he can sneak into my yard and talk to me. Then again, I also don't want him to be seen by my father, so maybe that's not a good idea.

I'm so happy! So happy that I could have been married to Romeo and not anyone else. He truly is my only true love and I love him so much! Well that's all I got to say and that I really love Romeo.

Do you believe in Fate? Are there certain things in life that, once set in motion, are inevitable; things that cannot be stopped once they are started

Yes, I do believe in fate, that when it's meant to be then it probably will happen. I think that it is possible, I think that fate had a help in them falling in love and meeting each other. Them falling in love was suppose to happen and romeo going to that party was just one thing that fate had a helping hand in. Yes I do believe in fate and once something is set in action, it'll keep going for now it would be in the hands on fate.

Dear Journal,
Why oh why must everyone fight? I try and try to get them to stop but they just won't. Romeo is having love problems for a girl named Rosaline. I tell him maybe he should just forget about her and move on, but he says " I can't! I love her too much! I'll be miserable for the rest of my life!" I say that isn't true, but nobody apparently wants to listen to me right now anyway.

Tonight I'm to take Romeo to the Caplulet party to get his mind off of Rosaline, even if he doesn't want to go I'll drag him there if I have to. I just want him to be happy and not grumpy and mopy all the time. I hope he says yes.
I just asked him and I had to persuade him to coming, but he said yes. Oh I just can't wait!!

Define true love. Do you believe it exists?

I guess true love is when you love someone or something with all your heart and you would do anything for this person or thing.
I do believe it exsists, I've seen it, but have never felt it. I believe in it cause I've seen it with this family in my ward.

If you had one superpower, what would it be and why? (Hint: describe exactly what your power would be, why you would want that one, what you would use

If I could have one superpower it would be to read people's minds. I think it would be cool to see what they are thinking about that they don't want anyone to know about. Why I chose mind reading is I think it'll be super awesome to read someone's mind and hear what they're thinking about.


I would use my superpower on anyone and anything,( dogs, cats, animals, things). I would also use it to mess with people and read their minds and know there deepest darkest secrets. I would be a good guy, I wouldn't be evil or anything like that, I would just basically use it just for fun, but if someone needs me to, then I will.
That's the superpower I would choose.

I would be like ok, i really wouldn't care, i don't hate it but i don't like love it. I like it. The only thing I really read from shaksphere was a biography on him and mid summers night dream. That play was one that I really enjoyed listening to.

I've heard of some of his plays like Romeo and Julliet, i never really read it or saw it. The only play I saw was Mcbeth when I was in 5th grade. That was also a really good play, at least I thought it was. I guess I do like some of shakesphere's plays and love them, but there are just so many, I really only like the ones that everybody's seen. Those are my thoughts on shakesphere:)
